GREEK and ROMAN COINS
All
coins are cleaned to show details. SS and 14kgf channel wire are used
for the bezel. Most bails are unique and hand created for the coins.
Coins are mostly identified and priced accordingly, generally much less
than market prices. Sometimes I can't identify (or take the time to
research) the coins so they are sold at a reduced price. My pendants
range in price from $40 and up. In order to make sure the coins are
secure in the bezel, a 2 part epoxy is used. Coins are guaranteed to
remain secure.
GREEK COINS Demigods
such as Zeus, Apollo, Athena, Herakles (Hercules) are generally on the
obverse side of the coins I make into pendants. During the reign of
King Philip II and King Alexander II they commemorated the Olympic games
with a horse on the reverse of the coin. Many of my coin pendants date
between 190 BC and 400 BC.
ROMAN COINS These coin pendants usually depict a Roman Emperor on the obverse and the reverse of the coin can be quite varied. Dates vary in the 100 to 400 AD range.
